Synopsis:

Jessica Rose Bailey, 19, has a boring job at a boring store in her boring Minnesota hometown, though it’s chock full of interesting characters. She’s mad at God (if there is one), partially for letting her dad die; mad at her mom for trying to make her feel better about her dad’s death; mad at her friends for going off and having more exciting lives; and generally closed off from others. Then her life gets a little too exciting and she’s not sure anyone is who they say they are, and maybe God does exist.
